you ever wanted to be part of something bigger than yourself? Ever
wished you could really make an impact on someone's life, but you
weren't sure where to find such an opportunity? Wanted to volunteer,
but couldn't figure out how to make it work with your already packed
schedule? Becoming a volunteer with eWomen can help you in each of these
As part of eWomen, you will have the opportunity to help change the life of a woman, by helping to support her career or business growth. Women in developing countries face numerous obstacles to their personal and professional growth, but with the help of a mentor or coach--with your help--they can learn to overcome obstacles and grow in their work. Best of all, because the coaching and mentoring is done online, it can be done at a time that fits your schedule.
Whether you want to mentor another woman who is just getting started, or be a coach for an established professional who wants more from her career, eWomen can provide you with a unique and fulfilling volunteer experience. Even if you think you don’t have the few hours a month that mentoring or coaching would require, there are still opportunities to have impact. Soon you will be able to provide business or technical expertise on an “as needed” basis to women who have a particular problem that needs attention as part of eWomen’s “Online Experts” Team or build supportive friendships through our Global Connections Network.
As a mentor, you might serve as a role model, teacher, consultant, and career advisor. You can help your mentee envision and plan their career, advise them in networking, building bridges, and developing into successful professionals within their chosen profession.
Acting as a coach, you will help your coachee overcome obstacles, guide them to setting and accomplishing their goals and dreams, and help them gain and maintain the clarity and motivation needed to unlock their full potential.
Experts on Call register under their careers or areas of knowledge and receive emails when a woman needs specific advice or suggestions to help her resolve a problem or is unsure of the best way to proceed.
As part of our eWomen's Online Networking, you will be part of ongoing conversations aimed at supporting the growth and development of women worldwide.
eWomen is the opportunity you've been waiting for! For more information, complete the volunteer information form or email us!
